Custom built for Safety Earl Little of the Cleveland Browns. This vehicle was built so he could have fun anywhere he ends up.
The woofer enclosure consists of 3 - 15" woofers in a sealed enclosure and was constructed as a single enclosure integrating the amplifiers.
The signal starts off from an Alpine AM/FM/DVD player mounted where the On Star controls were located and an Alpine screen housed where the factory radio resided. The Alpine radio interconnected with an Alpine 6 disc DVD changer, a 6 disc CD Changer, Alpine Navigation, Alpine Video Selector, a XM Radio tuner, and Dolby Digital/DTS processor.
Numerous custom modifications to integrate the system were performed throughout the vehicle. some of the modifications were the flush trimming of the video monitor in the dash, radio trim, relocating and molding the On Star controls, and a custom center channel speaker. The custom modified trim panel was painted to match the factory paint color for perfection.
The Alpine system also has a pair of Alpine video monitors custom fabricated into the headrest of the front 2 seats.
Power upgrades included multiple Optima batteries, a 20 farad PowerCore capacitor from Phoenix Gold and associated Phoenix Gold Wiring.
James Shields, outfitted the center channel speaker with a custom #20 plexiglass grille that was hand cut via a router and back lit by several blue LEDs.
To keep the vehicle and its contents secure, a Clifford Avantegaurd alarm/remote starter combo was installed which controlled all the vehicles windows and doors. A shock sensor, proximity sensor, glass break sensor, and a digital tilt sensor ensured that he returned to his vehicle as he left it.
Installation was performed in 2004 by James Shields
